A unique initiative to fund “enrichment” programs. Spark is unlike any other fund because it helps children who have no access to, or can’t afford to have new experiences in sports, arts and recreation. The Fund is also unique because it allows children to enrol in any program of their choice within their own communities and provides a commitment over multiple years. It also covers the costs of related clothing and equipment and gives them a level playing field with their peers.

Reach for the Rainbow (Reach) is an inclusive support system that connects families, partner programs and funding sources. Reach works with camps and recreation partners to ensure appropriate training of their 1:1 counsellors, integration coordinators and general staff and then helps families navigate the process of placing their children with disabilities in these programs to great success. The organization has been a pioneer in its approach to serving an umbrella of disabilities. Operating on a 'first-come, first-serve' basis to avoid selecting only individuals with particular disabilities, Reach works instead with family and camp and recreation providers to form safe, healthy and integrated opportunities. The Crystal Ball is Reach for the Rainbow’s signature event and a crucial fundraising component for the organization. This event helps us to continue developing inclusive recreational programs for children and young adults with various disabilities across Ontario. The annual event is an opportunity to reflect and reimagine the possibilities – all in the midst of the revelry and grand excitement of an award-winning gala.
